Job Title : Construction Administrator
Overview : We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Construction Administrator to join our team at a leading general contracting firm specializing in commercial construction.
The Construction Administrator will provide essential administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of construction projects from inception to completion.
Responsibilities :
- Assist in the preparation of project documentation, contracts, and proposals.
- Coordinate project meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, and taking minutes.
- Manage and maintain project files, records, and correspondence.
- Process and track project invoices, payments, and change orders.
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to facilitate project requirements.
- Assist in the coordination of project logistics, including permits, inspections, and deliveries.
- Provide administrative support to project managers and construction teams as needed.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Construction Administrator or in a similar administrative role within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
