Controller

A confidential client of our is a multi-faceted construction firm in Hays County. They work and develop relationships in multiple construction sectors.

This firm is searching for a dynamic controller with construction experience and a descriptive resume to help them continue to grow and expand their visibility and market share.

Objectives of this role

Deliver detailed financial reports to upper management by assessing, analyzing, and presenting relevant data Influence financial choices using company rules and procedures in response to the current economic situation. Create, enforce, and uphold fiscal controls and standards. Meet budget objectives through effective planning, analysis, and remedial measures Enhance payroll productivity via inventive process creation Assist in formulating and backing short- and long-term operational plans.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree preferred not required
• 3 years of exp. in commercial const. preferably
• General accounting insurance audits
• AP/AR reporting & billing
• 5 days a week is a must to start off
• Hybrid potential after awhile
