Corrugator Supervisor
A corrugated manufacturing industry leader, currently has an exciting opportunity available for a Corrugator Supervisor. Starting rate is dependent upon experience. As a Corrugator Supervisor, you will manage and coordinate the safe production of quality products with minimum waste in a clean environment by directing, scheduling, organizing, and monitoring employees and workflow.
Essential Job Functions:

Manage, coordinate, and achieve manufacturing results and improvement by setting and communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring and appraising job results; identifying and implementing employee growth opportunities; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; investigating and resolving personnel problems; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing employee systems, policies, and procedures.

Direct and maintain workflow by monitoring steps of the production; setting processing variables; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel; implementing cost reductions; facilitating corrections to malfunctions; communicating between departments.

Follow and enforce all safety and company policies, reporting any issues, accidents, or incidents immediately.

Accomplish work results by establishing priorities, resolving problems and enforcing standards.

Communicate daily with the next shift supervisor.

Knowledge of all grades of paper, the applications of each and all aspects of production.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Facilitate weekly meetings with crew to review quality, performance, safety topics and to get their input and ideas for improvement.

Promote teamwork within your crew and a positive work relationship with employees. Promote cross training within your crew.

Review and approve employee timecards.

Regular and predictable attendance.
-
Attend educational workshops and training classes when offered.

Be an active part of the safety committee.

Additional duties as assigned.
Required Education & Experience:
-
High School Diploma or GED
-
At-least 2 years of prior supervisory experience.
Preferred Education & Experience:
-
5 years of experience in the corrugated industry and working in a sheet plant.
Required Skills & Abilities:
-
Ability to comprehend and carry out instructions verbal or written.
-
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

Ability to read a tape measure.

Computer skills and ability to write reports and correspondence.

Ability to understand production reports and other operating reports.
-
Ability to train, direct, reward, discipline and coach employees while maintaining a positive attitude and superior behavior.

Time management skills. Ability to manage multiple issues concurrently.
