They are seeking an experienced Crane Operator with expertise in pile driving. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to lift, move, and position materials at our construction sites.
This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform pile driving operations for foundations and other structures.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Follow all safety protocols and site-specific regulations.
- Collaborate with site managers and other team members to ensure project specifications are met.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs and reports of operations and equipment status.
- Assist in the setup and dismantling of crane equipment as required.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Crane Operator certification (NCCCO or equivalent).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience operating cranes, with specific experience in pile driving.
- Comprehensive knowledge of crane operations, load charts, and rigging procedures.
- Strong understanding of safety standards and regulations.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and mechanical skills.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and on different types of terrain.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Additional certifications related to heavy equipment operation.
- Previous experience in concrete construction projects.
- CDL Class A license.
