What are the responsibilities and job description for the Development Director position at Gpac?
Here at Gpac we are working with a wonderful nonprofit organization that is looking for a Development Director to join their dynamic team. The Development Director will be serving as the liaison and ambassador for the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Fundraise to meet budget requirements as well as write at least 2 grants per month
- Manage donor relationships for long-term success
- Identify and research possible funding opportunities
- Facilitate opportunities for the additional leadership to engage potential donors
- Serve as the organization's liaison to community foundations, companies, and individual donors
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the organization and their mission
- Create a weekly tracking system for follow up and reporting
- Attend and serve as organization representative for events as needed
- Prepare and present monthly reports to leadership
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Development field with proven record for fundraising
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong public speaking skills required
- Ability to receive, manage, track, record, and employ large amounts of data rapidly
- Experience with stewardship

Salary : $65,000 - $90,000
