What are the responsibilities and job description for the Equipment operator position at GPAC?
Position Overview :
We are seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to operate various heavy equipment vehicles to construct landfills, complete site maintenance, site closures, and mining.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting equipment inspections, meeting the safety protocols of the company, and performing other related tasks.
Responsibilities :
- Perform routine equipment inspections and maintenance tasks on equipment
- Use material moving equipment to move raw materials and finished components
- Accurately maintain records of equipment inspections and maintenance
- Follow standard operating procedures while operating and maintaining heavy equipment vehicles
Qualifications :
- Excellent driving skills
- Advanced knowledge of heavy equipment operations
- At least one year of work experience in a related field
- Ability to obtain a commercial driver's license
