Our client is seeking a skilled Concrete Estimator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating, particularly in concrete / paving projects.
You will be responsible for analyzing project specifications, conducting site visits, and collaborating with various stakeholders to develop comprehensive cost estimates.
Attention to detail, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of concrete are essential for success in this role.
Concrete Estimator Responsibilities :
- Review project plans, specifications, and other relevant documents to understand project scope and requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for accurate estimations.
- Utilize estimating software and tools to prepare detailed cost estimates for concrete.
- Analyze labor, equipment, material, and subcontractor costs to develop competitive bids.
- Present estimates to management and participate in bid review meetings.
- Monitor project costs and provide ongoing support to project teams as needed.
Concrete Estimator Requirements :
- 5 years' proven experience as a Concrete Estimator in the Commercial and / or Industrial Construction industry.
- Proficiency in construction estimating software and tools.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills with the ability to interpret technical documents and drawings.
