Gpac just partnered with a rapidly growing company that is seeking a Fabrication Supervisor. This company has over 40 years of experience! Competitive compensation and looking to hire quickly.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule production activities and maintain inventory to increase production and quality
  • Supervise and provide leadership, coaching, guidance, training, and staff development
  • Ensure parts are made error free
  • Participate in interviews and selection of employees for assigned bay. Evaluate employee performance; counsel and discipline employees as necessary and monitors time and attendance
  • Ensure departmental goals of safety, quality, productivity, utilization, cost and delivery are met
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement projects and Kaizen events

Responsible for:

  • Burn table
  • Lasers
  • Grinders
  • Material Handling
  • CNC Saws

Education and Experience

  • Read More...High school diploma required. Technical degree or direct fabrication experience preferred
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Work well in a fast-paced environment, have excellent problem solving skills, and be able to multitask on a variety of projects
  • Previous supervisory experience required
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing OR Six Sigma methodologies a plus
