Field Service Technician
The Traveling Service Technician is responsible for providing on-site service, repair, and maintenance of industrial equipment at customer locations across the country.
They will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving equipment issues in a timely manner. The technician will be expected to work independently and as part of a team to ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities :
- Travel to customer locations to provide on-site service, repair, and maintenance of industrial equipment
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve equipment issues
- Provide training to customers on proper equipment use and maintenance
- Maintain accurate and detailed service records
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
- Comply with all safety and company policies and procedures
Qualifications :
- 3-5 years of experience in industrial equipment service, repair, and maintenance
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Must be willing to travel extensively
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
Education :
Technical degree or certification in mechanical or electrical engineering is preferred
