Architectural Job Captain

An exciting and innovative Architecture and Design Firm is looking for a top-notch Job Captain to mentor, coach, develop, and promote for long-term success.
The Architectural Job Captain will be tasked with overseeing day-to-day architectural design deliverables, construction documentation, administration tasks, and other routine maintenance duties to keep projects moving along on schedule.
Key Responsibilities :
- The Architectural Job Captain will be responsible for the coordination of project deliverables during all phases of the project.
- Oversee the efforts of a production team to produce high-quality construction documents within the allotted time and budget.
- Act as a point of contact for clients and outside consultants.
- Design, sketch, and provide drawings of proposed projects.
- Provide strong leadership through the management of relationships at all levels, internally and externally, with ownership, clients, production staff, consultants, and contractors.
Preferred Qualifications :
- B.S or M.S. Degree in architecture.
- Architecture License preferred - but not required.
- 3 years of working experience with schematic design through construction administration phases.
- Experience coordinating outside consulting engineers, specification research, obtaining agency approvals, and working with contractors is a big plus.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Possesses a strong foundational knowledge of construction documentation, consultant coordination, and overall project leadership.
- Strong organizational and communication skills are essential!
