JOB DUTIES:
- Familiarity with all types of entries- anti-dumping, ACE, etc.
- Route and arrange bookings/pickups with contracted airlines, ocean carriers, drayage companies, marine & air terminal operations and warehouse partners.
- Solid knowledge import requirements from other government agencies, including Food & Drug Administration (FDA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Federal Communications Commission (FCC), etc.
- Daily tracking and follow up on all shipments/modes via CargoWise
Coordinate air and ocean shipments, imports and exports with thorough knowledge of related procedures and documentation.Determine accurate tariff classification and duty value for entry submission and entry summary with U.S. Customs & Border Protection (CBP)
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5-7 years of freight forwarding experience (ocean & air, import & export)
- Detailed knowledge of the global logistics and transportation industry
- Experience using MS Office applications & shipping-related portals such as INTTRA, GT Nexus, etc.
- Excellent data entry, organizational and customer service skills, including written & verbal proficiency in English
- Well-organized with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Licensed Customs Broker
