Urgent need for Office Manager
A reputable electrical distribution equipment manufacturer contracted with GPAC to help fill an Office Manager position. This position is responsible for providing administrative support to the plant leadership, project managers, engineers, and other plant personnel as needed. The Office Manager will manage all daily, weekly and monthly administrative support and general accounting functions.
Responsibilities of the Office Manager:

Perform duties related to the following:
- Office management
- Records maintenance
- Accounts payable/receivable
- Time and expense entry
- 3-way match for accounts payable
- Purchasing assistance
- Receiving and processing PO’s
- General ledger
- Generating other reports as required.
- Clerical duties
- Assist in preparation of any reports and statistics reflecting earnings, profitability, budgeting, forecasting, and other financial and variance results analyses.
- Implement and maintain administrative procedures and internal controls in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Assist shop admin with data entry and enter/reconcile receipts.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements of the Office Manager:
- Create and inspire an atmosphere of teamwork with administrative and management staff.
- Maintains professionalism in all situations in the workplace and when working with customers.
- Must be safety conscious, dependable, and motivated.
- Will take an active role in the plant safety initiatives
Minimum Education and Experience required of the Office Manager:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Self-motivated; able to work independently.
- Highly proficient in MS programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Proficient accounting knowledge and skills
- Excellent time management, planning, and organizational skills; capable of managing multiple tasks
