Plant Manager-Building Materials
The Plant Manager has an exemptional talent in solving large-scale challenges, committed to people, resolving bottleneck issues, maintains inventory and logistics on a high-level-leadership hierarchy. This candidate is dedicated to achieving operational excellence with a genuine interest in helping everyone to succeed.
A Qualified Candidate will have 5-10 years of experience:
- Providing excellent leadership to ensure effective utilization of equipment, innovate methods of manufacturing processes to reduce costs and improve quality of the product
- Budgeting and Managing manufacturing budget, cost structures by developing operational allowance, and investigate cost-reduction measures
- Collaborating and provide communication through leadership hierarchy for the implementation of all continuous improvement strategies
- Implementing an effective strategic vision to create and improve production, quality, and labor force throughout the entire plant
- Implementing lean manufacturing principles to design, specify, and resolve organizational goals
Required Skills/Education & Abilities:
- BA or BS in operations management is a plus or equivalent industry
- 5-10 years' experience in plant operations
- implementing Lean Manufacturing techniques
- Process Engineering experience
- Six Sigma-Green Belt*preferred
- Proven supervisory skills, demonstrated leadership skills, and exceptional problem-solving skills
- Ability to exceed customers' expectations, continuous improvement, and motivate employees to achieve goals
Important to know:
- Must be able to work in the US without sponsorship
