What are the responsibilities and job description for the Potato Field Manager position at Gpac?
A large, profitable and progressive Ag operation is actively seeking an experienced Potato Field Manager to oversee its daily operation and employees.
Field Manager Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED
- Valid drivers license
- Farming experience preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products
- Ability to work in a Team environment and posses excellent communication skills
- Bi-lingual in Spanish and/or ability to learn Spanish is preferred
Field Manager Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage in preparing fields for planting, growing and harvesting a quality potato crop
- Oversee and manage scheduling irrigation and plant protection applications to fields
- Provide general direction to planting and harvesting crews
- Collect and record field data
- Operate and maintain all farm equipment
Pay: $50K-$65K base bonus potential
