Production Planner/Scheduler
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Planning & Scheduling
- Communicate with plant & production managers on a regular, ongoing basis to review forecasts including project delivery dates, sizes, tooling needs etc. to manage production schedule.
- Coordinate tooling shared across multiple plants and production lines.
- Maintain a rolling 4-week production schedule to drive material resource planning.
- Communicate with material and consumables buyers regarding demand and production requirements.
- Support the overall inventory management process including cycle counts and manual inventory adjustments.
- Support or lead project teams on improvement initiatives.
Cross-Training & Development
- Focus on cross-training, continuous learning, and improvement.
- Complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of three years of production and planning experience required, preferably in plastics extrusion manufacturing.
- Strong influencing skills with the ability to communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of the organization.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to analyze data/facts/drawings to support valid conclusions and to solve practical problems or deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry, applying concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Proficient with MS Office products and IQMS.
- Honest and fiscally responsible.
