Food & Beverage Production Supervisor
A growing company in the area is looking for Production Supervisor to join their team. This position would oversee the production lines on 1st shift. If you have strong leadership/mentoring skills, experience in the food and beverage industry, and a desire for career growth, this would be the perfect role for you!
Production Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Responsible for establishing and executing policies, procedures, and programs that assure products are developed, manufactured, and marketed with superior quality in compliance with in-house specifications and all applicable legal and regulatory agencies
- Manage and coordinate training programs for employees
- Plan and coordinate shift activities in assigned area
- Plan and implement process improvements
- Observe work, and monitor gauges, dials, and other indicators to ensure that operators conform to production or processing standards
- Confer with management, co-workers and/or subordinates to resolve worker problems, complaints, or grievances
- Demonstrate positive leadership practices including setting clear goals with shift leads and employees, providing regular feedback, and contributing to a positive and motivational work environment
- Attend meetings and trainings as required
Education and Experience
- 2-3 years experience in a related field, including previous supervisory experience.
- Strong leadership skills
- College degree preferred, but not required. Experience in lieu of degree will be considered
- Must have strong ethics and values, and the ability to motivate others
- Must have a drive for results; focus on and commitment to achieving outcomes required
- Must be an organized individual; being able to stay organized, set priorities, and plan ahead is required
