Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project managers to plan construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Oversee project progress and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure efficient project execution.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction activities and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project reports.
- Evaluate project risks and develop mitigation plans to minimize potential issues.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and regulatory agencies.
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera, Procore) and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred.
