Ranch Hand Description:
A family-owned cattle backgrounding and yearlings operation in Nebraska is currently in need of a Ranch Hand or couple. Looking for someone who is self-motivated with a good work ethic to assist with daily responsibilities. This can also be an opportunity for someone looking to continue their understanding of the industry by starting their own herd.
The company offers competitive pay, health insurance, house/utilities, retirement, a portion of beef, monthly grocery stipend, and a bonus of one cow/year. They are also willing to pay for AI certification.
Ranch Hand Responsibilities:
- Daily feeding, herd health, upkeep of facilities and equipment
- Sorting, branding, vaccinations, etc.
- Assist with the annual bull sale
Ranch Hand Requirements:
- Experience within the cattle industry
- Ability to perform necessary tasks and work with others
- Reference checkability
