gpac is working with a top of the line diesel repair company that is urgently seeking to hire a Service Technician with diesel and / or heavy equipment repair experience.

What will you do?
- Perform thorough diagnostics and ensure functionality of mechanical systems.
- Build, inspect and assemble machinery including diesel and heavy engines.
- Diagnose and provide recommendations on repairs.
- Basic use of computer technology on a regular basis.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and resolve them in a timely fashion.
- Follow all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
Your Qualifications :
- 5 years mechanical experience with diesel / heavy emphasis.
- Ability to perform required maintenance and has own set of tools.
- Adequate knowledge of Volvo and other diesel engines.
- Willingness to learn complex systems via training or possess relevant service school certifications.
- Proficient oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as efficiently within a team.
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.
