What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sheet metal foreman position at Gpac?
An established Mechanical company is looking for an HVAC Sheet Metal Fabrication Shop Foreman.
What We Are Looking For :
- 5-10 years of sheet metal production experience, welding (MIG and TIG) and CAD experience preferred
- A valid driver’s license with a clean record.
- Someone who is able to oversee the shop crew in producing ductwork and other fabrications, prioritizing and scheduling production to meet project demands in coordination with project managers and field supervisors.
- Able to plan, lay out, fabricate, and assemble ductwork according to SMACNA standards, selecting appropriate sheet metal types per project specifications.
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle for transporting goods, load and unload products, and repair and maintain shop equipment as needed.
