Position : Territory Sales Representative
Summary : Our client seeks a dedicated Territory Sales Representative responsible for achieving sales growth and account penetration within an assigned territory by selling products and services.
The Territory Sales Representative will secure new business accounts / customers.
Essential Functions :
- Promote / sell / secure orders from existing and prospective customers.
- Demonstrate products and services to potential customers.
- Maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers to generate new business.
- Make calls and in-person visits to customers.
- Conduct annual face-to-face account reviews and quarterly check-ins.
- Maintain updated Salesforce account with activities, appointments, opportunities, etc.
- Maintain a pipeline 30% above the minimum necessary to sustain sales goals.
- Research prospective customers and gather information to determine their potential.
- Develop written proposals / quotations for customers.
- Expedite customer problem resolution.
- Coordinate sales efforts with other departments.
- Analyze territory / market potential and determine customer value.
- Create and manage customer value plans.
- Identify and compare advantages of products / services.
- Plan and organize sales strategy for the territory.
- Provide management with reports on customer needs and competitive activities.
- Develop a Sales Plan with the Director of Sales.
- Keep abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, and competitive activities.
- Participate in trade shows, conventions, and networking events.
- Continually learn about new products and improve selling skills.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Non-Essential Functions :
- Attend and participate in sales meetings, seminars, and trade shows.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and price quotations.
Qualifications and Experience :
- 5 years of sales experience with a proven track record.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and judgment skills.
- Ability to project a calm and professional demeanor.
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Highly self-motivated and driven.
- Experience with Salesforce.
- Strong industry knowledge preferred.
- Adept at time management and working with deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and in a group.
- Trustworthy, honest, respectful, and flexible.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
- Proficient in Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
- Valid driver’s license and clean DMV driving report.

- Occasionally lift and / or carry up to 25 lbs.
- Use office equipment, including computers and s.
- Perform tasks requiring fine motor skills and vision adjustments.
- Travel for business purposes as needed.
Work Environment :
- Exposure to weather conditions and moderate noise levels.
- Work a minimum of forty (40) hours per week, including office hours and after hours / weekends as needed.
