Job Summary : The Territory Sales Representative will play a crucial role in acquiring municipal and government contracts, promoting a range of specialized equipment designed for street and sewer maintenance.
This position requires a dynamic sales professional who can effectively manage and grow their territory.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain relationships with municipal and government clients to promote and sell street and sewer equipment.
- Demonstrate products and provide detailed information to potential clients about the specifications and capabilities of the equipment.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals.
- Attend trade shows and conduct presentations to showcase the latest equipment and technologies.
- Work closely with the sales team to develop strategies for market penetration and growth.
- Provide timely feedback to the management regarding customer concerns and sales potential.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in equipment sales to government or municipal entities.
- Knowledge of street and sewer maintenance equipment is highly advantageous.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and travel within the territory.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Compensation :
- Salary ranges from $30,000 to $70,000 based on experience, with a variable commission structure. Higher base salaries come with lower commission rates, while lower base salaries offer the potential for higher commissions based on sales performance.
