Key Responsibilities
- Conduct traffic impact studies, traffic signal design, and transportation planning analyses.
- Perform traffic capacity and operational analyses using industry-standard software such as Synchro, HCS, and more.
- Assist in the design and implementation of traffic control devices, including traffic signals, signs, and pavement markings.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and other project deliverables to communicate findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including transportation planners, civil engineers, and environmental specialists, to develop integrated solutions to transportation challenges.
- Assist in the preparation of project proposals, scopes of work, and budgets.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field required
- Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification or Professional Engineer (PE) license required within
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in traffic engineering or related field preferred.
- Proficiency in traffic engineering software such as Synchro and Microstation required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
