IT Technician

We are looking for someone to join our team who can use their technical skills to ensure the optimal performance of our client’s technology equipment. Our client has multiple sites around the Cleveland Metro area employing a variety of networking and audio and visual equipment that requires support on a daily basis Monday through Friday. We are looking for a professional with the following experience and skills to perform the following:

• Experience in LAN/WAN connectivity and the installation, maintenance, and repair of computer hardware and software.
• Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot problems associated with network connectivity, and workstation hardware/software.
• Provide first/second level contact and problem resolution for customer issues.
• Work with vendors to remediate complex AV issues as needed.
• Provide timely communication on issue status and resolution.
• Maintain ticket updates for all reported incidents.
• Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot XP, Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 2010, Cisco Jabber, another authorized desktop application.
• Should have basic knowledge of Mac operating system, to support Apple pc users.
• Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot for printers, computer hardware.
• Performs remedial repairs on Desktops, laptops, printers and any other authorized peripheral equipment.
• This position requires the ability to work in a project-based environment requiring flexibility and teamwork. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Experience installing and supporting networks, CCNA highly preferred.
• Broad experience of IT with understanding of Networks, Servers, Audio/Visual, Smart Devices and Telecoms.
• MUST be able to pass a background check.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
