Hiring a Tester to join our Scrum team as the owner of all testing to ensure that delivered products meet requirements and design specifications. You will collaborate with product developers, business analysts, and scrum masters to identify and ensure complete testing coverage.
Responsibilities
- Participate in user story creation to discern how designs and requirements will be tested.
- Define test objectives and create test plans and test scripts for all phases of testing.
- Oversee data creation and valuation of test data.
- Prioritize test scripts based on high, medium, and low scenarios.
- Identify and record defects in the testing tool and discuss defect priority and mitigation strategy with other team members.
- Create folders, assign releases, and run reports to help the team with testing tool maintenance.
- Follow guidelines for testing, Change and Release management, and software development.
- Recognize and create awareness of process or quality improvements
The role is a senior position, so we are looking for someone with seven or more years of relevant experience performing functional, integration, and regression testing of web-based & mobile applications. While this is largely a manual testing job, our objective is to continue to automate as much of our manual testing processes as possible, we are looking for some base knowledge in automation.
Required
- Building & executing test plans in Azure DevOps
- SQL scripting.
- Exposure to Selenium or similar automated testing platform.
- Exposure to automated API testing tools (i.e. Postman, SoapUI, etc.)
- Exposure to automated load testing tools (i.e. JMeter, Loadrunner, etc.)
Any of the following a plus
- Security Testing.
- Microsoft .NET ecosystem.
- SAP or related ERP.
- VBScript / HTML programming.
- Oracle/SQL Server
Job Details
- Contract to Hire
- Annual Compensation: $100,000 - $110,000
