About the Role
We are hiring a part time payroll coordinator to process payroll transactions for Gracent staff.

This role reports to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process attendance records and other documents
- Check payroll information for accuracy and ensure all relevant paperwork is in order
- Coordinate with HR about changes in payroll (new hires, terminations, status changes, etc)
- Oversee electronic paychecks
- Update data with salary or wage adjustments
- Process other financial compensations or deductions (annual bonuses, severance pay, taxes, etc)
- Handle benefit expenses, like insurance fees or paid leave
- Produce reports to upper management as needed
- Answer employee questions regarding payroll
Skills and Abilities Required:
- Excellent attention to detail
- Working knowledge of payroll system Paylocity preferred
- Strong communication skills
- An analytical mind with good math skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, payroll systems, and database software
Qualifications:
- BA in accounting, finance, or relevant field
- Proven experience as a payroll coordinator or similar role
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment where the business is continually evolving
- Highly detail oriented, with excellent follow-through
- Exceptional organization, planning, prioritization, multi-tasking and time management
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the role
Minimum Physical Requirements:
- Typically requires sitting for long periods of time with frequent keyboard/mouse usage and intermittent stooping, bending and walking.
- May occasionally lift up to 30 pounds which may include the need for independent mobility: bend, reach, or kneel.
- Visual and auditory skills are required
- Ability to work all assigned hours
- Clinic environment – may be exposed to loud noises if working or visiting a clinic
