Nature & Scope:

Responsible for assembling and sealing all joinery on metal parts to window sashes, vents, and frames by performing the following duties.


Specific Job Responsibilities & Duties: include the following; other duties may be assigned.


DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Machine various window extrusions and parts according to blueprints. Problem-solve new products and address any other machining challenges. Set up machines to fulfill machining specification listed on drawing schematics. Operate within established set-up times, cycle times, feed rates and speeds.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience:

3 years machining experience

3 years’ experience as a CNC operator


Education: H.S. Diploma or the equivalent

Technical school/apprenticeship program a plus

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to work and yield standardized output with minimum supervision
  • Detail Oriented
  • Computer skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend blueprints
  • Strong math skills
  • Ability to use various measuring devices such as dial calipers, tape measure skillfully
  • Versatile to various duties, adaptable to change, creative with problem solving, responsible for quality & output, and dependable team player
