What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cybersecurity Officer position at Graham County?
Location: Graham County I.T. Department

Description of responsibilities:
- Identifies vulnerabilities in the County's network.
- Monitors network usage to ensure compliance with security policies.
- Documents any security breach and assesses damages.
- Designs and maintains end-user security tools and end-user education.
- Oversees all ongoing activities related to the development, implementation, and maintenance of the County's information security policies and procedures.
- Develops/implements information security awareness training and education programs.
- Proactively prevents potential disaster situations by ensuring that proper protections are in place.
- Ensures a business continuity/disaster recovery plan is in place to offset the effects caused by intentional and unintentional acts.
- Expands and maintains intra-department and vendor communication.
- Troubleshoots and deploys security-related infrastructure changes.
- Evaluates security incidents and determines what response, if any, is needed.
- Configures and analyzes security tools and software.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required experience: Theideal candidate will have knowledge of risk management processes (e.g., methods for assessing and mitigating risk), cybersecurity and privacy principles used to manage risks related to the use, processing, storage, and transmission of information or data.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in information systems or related field. A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in Information Technology. An equivalent combination of directly related work experience and education may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-per-year basis. Possession of a valid Arizona driver’s license, with a history of safe driving and the ability to maintain a safe driving record.
