The registered professional nurse is responsible for providing care, treatment, an education through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The registered professional nurse is responsible for care of patients ages: neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric taking into account patient acuity levels, ages, disabilities, and stages of development in the performance of his/her responsibilities. Nursing care is provided in collaboration with the Medical Staff and in accordance with objectives and policies of Graham Hospital. The registered professional nurse functions as the team leader of a designated group of patients. The registered professional nurse is responsible for directing the other members of the health care team. The registered professional nurse reports to the Director of Acute Care Services.
The applicant must have graduated from an accredited school of professional nursing. Must have current Illinois Licensure and current CPR certification. Must have ACLS or obtain within one (1) year.
