Position Details:Reporting to the Senior Manager, eCommerce Solutions, you will drive profitable eCommerce sales growth through partnership with sales leaders, sellers, and customers. Leads complex customer implementations to integrate with Grainger's eProcurement channel. Responsible for positioning our digital capabilities with aligned Grainger Sales Teams and customer base for the entire suite of our eCommerce solutions. Supports Seller education on all aspects of Grainger's eCommerce platforms including sales techniques and methodology. Creates insight-driven solutions for different customer types leveraging analytics and industry expertise. Also provides key analysis and insights to drive eCommerce share penetration and ongoing adoption across all eProcurement enabled accounts. Strives to deliver an effortless customer experience by working closely with our eBusiness Implementation, eCommerce Support, and Advance Ecommerce Teams.
You Will:- Establish and create plans for eCommerce account reach strategies and sales goals.
- Educate and support the seller organization with regards to eCommerce capabilities during the initial presentation and closing process for new accounts.
- Meet with customers to promote eCommerce conversion and reach within those accounts.
- Perform customer demos, training for large customer groups that demand training, and assist sellers with sales calls, RFP/RFI's and Quarterly Business Reviews.
- Create, plan, and drive for improved seller knowledge and expertise in providing online and eProcurement solutions to customers.
- Monitor sales of assigned customer types and defined segments to grow business to our eCommerce platforms by generating utilization reports and communicating results.
- Be a knowledge base expert for eCommerce capabilities and trends within the current marketplace.
- Look for new opportunities related to driving eCommerce spend within our ePro and Grainger.com accounts. Monitor, tracks and communicates results and effectiveness of eCommerce programs within their defined area.
- Ensure that assigned Sellers and Sales leaders are supported to provide eCommerce messages and solutions available.
- Ensure implementation of all eCommerce projects by assisting the sales team in gathering customer requirements. This includes leading work with all partners such as sellers, project and IT implementation teams to establish customer account structures and impacts related to eCommerce integrations.
- Work as a liaison between sales management, sellers and customers to communicate important eCommerce programs and future developments.
- Scope potential opportunities for enhancements to Grainger eCommerce platforms and tools in partnership with Enterprise Systems.
- 3 years experience with eCommerce or eProcurement in sales, services, or IT
- BA/BS or equivalent ideal
- Sales experience with at least 2 years with a large organization recommended
- Expertise in eProcurement systems and marketplaces
- Experience creating/identifying user requirements with large scale systems
- Experience setting eCommerce targets and design growth plan
- Passion for the customer and results driven
- Experience handling objections
- High level of professional credibility with customers
Compensation:This position is salaried and will pay between $98,430. to 150,960. with 15% bonus eligibility target. The range provided is a guideline and not a guarantee of compensation. Other factors that are involved in offer decisions include, and are not limited to: a candidate's experience, qualifications, geographical area, and internal equity of the team.
