Detailed Job Summary
- Coordinate and execute sales promotion activities, ensuring effective merchandise displays and compelling advertising copy to attract customers and drive sales.
- Supervise and provide guidance to employees engaged in shop sales, inventory management, cash reconciliation, and recordkeeping. Foster a positive work environment, promote teamwork, and encourage professional development.
- Assist in the supervision of Outside Service Attendants and Starter/Marshalls, ensuring their adherence to established procedures and providing support and training as necessary.
- Oversee accounting tasks, including accurate recordkeeping, financial reporting, and inventory control, ensuring compliance with established procedures and practices.
- Proactively manage inventory levels by monitoring stock, analyzing sales trends, and placing timely orders or preparing requisitions to replenish merchandise, optimizing product availability to meet customer demand.
- Ensure employees comply with established security, sales, and recordkeeping procedures, maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff and customers.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting each customer as they enter the store, offering assistance, and addressing inquiries or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Take responsibility for the overall upkeep of the store, ensuring cleanliness, addressing engineering issues, and maintaining fixtures and displays to create an inviting and organized shopping environment.
- Effectively manage store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and security measures, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
- Foster open communication, collaboration, and mutual respect with employees, promoting a positive work climate and motivating the team to achieve performance targets.
- Continuously evaluate and improve store processes and procedures to optimize efficiency, customer satisfaction, and sales performance.
- Stay updated on industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business growth and implement effective strategies.
