Granite VNA is hiring a full-time Nurse Educator! Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

The Nurse Educator is an essential role at Granite VNA. You will have the opportunity to share your passion for teaching, your knowledge and your clinical skills. This is achieved by orienting new clinical staff to the agency and creating education programs that foster professional growth.
The Nurse Educator helps us to achieve our mission by:
• Orienting new clinical staff to the agency
• Verifying staff competency in the field and classroom setting
• Creating education programs to foster professional growth
• Developing clinical pathways
• Guiding quality patient care by participating in guideline and protocol development
• Participating on agency and state wide committees
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Two year clinical experience in home care & hospice, acute care or long term care
- Experience in clinical teaching, community teaching, healthcare teaching and/or mentoring adults
- Works with electronic medical records
