Description
The Employment Services Manager is currently responsible for overseeing the Employment Service team and service deliverables to positively impact the community.
Responsibilities
Manages staff to achieve Borderplex Board and Texas Workforce Commission goal measures and implements strategies for job-seeker development to meet business needs.
Develops, motivates, and assures proper training of the Employment Service team.
Works cooperatively with business services and training team to service customer needs.
Complete all documentation and agreements with business partners for participation in various center activities.
Be knowledgeable and compliant with program guidelines, policies and procedures
Assists with special projects and provide cross-functionality programmatic support.
Ensure the Employment Specialist/ Workforce Development Specialist provides support and responds to routine questions about Workforce Development Programs, other training and employment service questions related to work, labor market trends, career development, unemployment insurance benefits, and appeals.
Foster quality consciousness and compliances among staff to reduce overall quality errors.
Qualifications
2 years of management or leadership experience
3-5 Years of experience in workforce development
3-5 Years of experience in workforce development
