Position Summary
The Pursuit Center of Excellence’s (PCOE) Content Senior Associate works as an integral part of the PCOE Content Team. The PCOE Content Team is the engine behind two writer teams: pre-proposal sales deliverable team (Studio ) and the proposal team (Studio). The PCOE Content team creates proposal and pre-proposal templates,1-to-many sales sheets and capability decks, case studies and testimonials, client lists and statistics as well as ad hoc RFP and non-RFP proposal content. The team also maintains the content library and proposal automation tool (Seismic) and a SharePoint-based intranet site. The PCOE Content Senior Associate will work cross-functionally across all aforementioned areas, but with a heavy focus on directly supporting proposal writers through our Rapid Response function and assisting CSO Client Diligence team with vendor due diligence. This function researches and provides answers to the most complex proposal questions and credentials needs, creating content where none exists in collaboration with firm leaders and various departments (Finance, Legal, HR, IT security, etc.). Rapid Response also plays an elevated role in a strategic pursuit process aligned to the firm’s most important/high dollar opportunities. When the pre-proposal and proposal writing teams (Studio and Studio ) are at capacity and there is a need to address volume spikes, the PCOE Content Senior Associate may also be called upon to handle either in part or in full various pre-proposal and proposal deliverables.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Answer Rapid Response requests with deadlines during U.S. hours.
- Add new RFP answers/helpful content and instructions into Seismic.
- Collaborate with variety of professionals to create new content, templates, etc.
- Proactively update content that changes periodically (e.g., rankings, service listings, awards, client and headcounts, statistics)
- Learn Seismic automation features and become proficient in editing proposal templates, data tables and other content in Seismic.
- Learn SharePoint administrative skills and become proficient in uploading revised/new content onto the PCOE’s intranet site (aka The PCOE Portal).
- Conduct research for statistics and other credentials for ongoing use as assigned.
- Fully understand firm resources and how to apply/employ in content role.
- Provide second line, supplemental support on other proposal and pre-proposal content projects as needed.
- Create and document processes as needed.
- Provide training on content resources, proposal tools, etc. to new hires.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills
- Minimum of three years of proposal writing at an accounting firm required
- In-depth knowledge of accounting profession service offerings
- Strong aptitude to for strategic thinking and exceptional resourcefulness
- Strong writing, communication, and project management skills
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with firm’s senior leaders and other professionals
- Customer service orientation with a sense of urgency
- Adaptability and flexibility to shift focus based on evolving needs
- Process improvement mindset
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) required
- Experienced in a proposal automation tool such as Qvidian or Seismic preferred
The base salary for this position in the firm's Denver, CO office only is between $65,300 and $108.800. Accepting applications on an ongoing basis.
The base salary for this position in the firm's Melville, NY, Manhattan / New York City, NY, Bellevue, WA and Los Angeles, CA, offices only is between $70,500 and $117,500.
The base salary for this position in the firm's San Francisco, CA and San Jose, CA offices only office only is between $75,100 and $125,100.
