Primary Responsibilities:
- Apply knowledge of Federal, state and local, regulations governing the Unemployment Compensation (UC) program, including regular UC, DUA, EB, STC, TRA, UCFE, UCX, IB, CWC, Temporary Federal Extended Benefit Programs, UI Adjudications, UI Appeals, and Benefit Payment Control.
- Interpret UI program legislation, policies, programs, and regulations.
- Provide policy advise and delivering technical assistance and training on issue related to UI programs.
- .Review documents for conformity, program accuracy, and quality in accordance with federal, state, or local requirements.
- Work collaboratively and maintain professional networks with officials in federal, state, or local government agencies or public entities.
- Write or edit reports and provide guidance to junior personnel and management, state, or local government agencies.
- Provide oversight for data collection, data analysis, and the development of performance reports that compare the baseline and actual data.
- Identify business process improvements and assist with formulation of technical solutions with IT Staff.
- Ensure technical solutions conform to UI Programmatic goals.

Client and Project Description:
Working with the Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration, to conduct assessments of each state's Unemployment Insurance program, to develop recommendations for improved processes. The teams are focusing on three primary areas: Fraud Prevention and Detection, Equity and Accessibility, and Timeliness and Backlog.
Team Description:
There are six teams, with six team members each. Each team member has a specific area of focus: UI, Fraud, Process, Technology, Customer Experience, Behavioral Insight. It is an experienced team, with many diverse perspectives
