Production Technician

Our Production Technicians help ensure jobs stay continuously moving throughout the production process to help alleviate back-ups or jobs from staying stagnant.

This is a Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, in a predominantly standing position.

This position is best described as a “Jack of all trades” type position. It involves daily tasks to keep standard jobs moving to all departments, as well as working hands on with HVLP Painting, Direct to Surface Flatbed Printing, and Vinyl Plotting Operators so all materials move smoothly through their areas. These positions main responsibilities would be to help paint department inspect, add masking/adhesive, sort and deliver to all other departments, assist in preparing materials for painting by peeling, boarding, applying paint masking, and/or mixing paint, inspect products from the print department, add masking/adhesive, sort and deliver to all other departments and prepare materials for printing by un-boarding, peeling, and organizing without scratching or scuffing.

The Ideal Candidate

• Is adaptable and willing to work in a variety of positions and responsibilities
• Has experience in production and printing/painting software
• Feels comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Compensation - Significant Monthly and Quarterly Bonus Opportunities

• Monthly bonuses can be earned based on achieving the 95% complete and on time goal as well as properly managing labor and material expenses for gross profit (contribution margin) goals
• The entire Team has the same goals and if achieved, the monthly bonus is split evenly among all eligible team members.
• Quarterly bonuses are based on going above and beyond for agreed upon contribution margin goals

Paid Vacation and Holidays - After 90 Day Probationary Period

• 7 paid holidays through the year (8 hours per holiday) and 52 hours paid vacation, sick days, or personal days.
• After 1 Year – 78 Hours Per Year
• After 2 Years – 104 Hours Per Year
• After 3 Years – 130 Hours Per Year
• After 5 Years – 156 Hours Per Year

• Life Insurance policy of $25,000 is covered by Graphic Components
• Long-Term Disability Insurance is covered 100% by Graphic Components
• Health Insurance Plan for Team Member is Covered at 100% by Graphic Components. This covers the base plan, but we also currently offer a higher plan to choose from. Team Members would pay an additional premium for the higher plan.
• Dental Insurance is available, but Team Member is required to pay 100%
• Vision Insurance is available, but Team Member is required to pay 100%
• Dependents can be added to the Health, Vision & Dental policies at the expense of the Team Member

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $23.00 per hour
