What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Auditor position at Graphic Packaging International?
Performs a wide variety of duties to gauge the quality of the products produced in the processes at company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Perform random audits of finished products.
2. Sample and test raw materials.
3. Organize, distribute and file the necessary Color Standards used in the Printing Department.
4. Evaluate Customer samples prior to sending out.
5. Assist with establishing tolerances for product that needs to be sorted.
6. Sort finished products for quality issues anywhere in the process.
7. Participate in any tasks necessary to allow for continuous operation of the process.
8. Follow all Plant Safety rules and maintain a safe working environment.
9. Monitor the level of quality in the products being produced.
10. Comply with the Consolidated Standards for Inspection – Food Contact Manufacturing Facilities through AIB International.
Additional Responsibilities:
1. Collect Statistical Process Control (SPC) Data as required.
2. Participate in Continuous Process Improvement Activities as required.
Qualifications:
Basic math, reading and writing skills are required to perform this job. General computer skills are required to perform data entry.
