Grassi Investment Management a leading top wealth management firm in the Silicon Valley with over 1B in AUM is looking for a Financial Consultant with strong marketing and sales experience.
Our ideal candidate would be from a large firm looking to bring their expertise and knowledge to our boutique firm. Candidates must be personable, efficient, organized, and able to work independently and in a team setting.
Position Overview
In this position, the Financial Consultant would work with high-net-worth individuals and families, developing investment management strategies and coordinating with clients. The candidate will also commit a significant allocation of their time to business development activities in order to build a base of new clients.
Job Duties
· Manage, retain and grow business relationships with existing clients.
· Communicate current market strategy and portfolio updates to clients.
· Act as liaison between clients and portfolio managers.
· Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified and prospective clients.
· Lead development and implementation of sales strategy, including identification and targeting new client opportunities.
· Spearhead new business development initiatives.
· Actively manage relationships with prospects to achieve higher conversion rates.
· Responsible for client relationship management.
· Work with financial intermediaries and spheres of influence to develop a network of referrals.
Qualifications/Skills
· Bachelor's degree.
· 3-5 years of investment industry or financial services experience.
· Experience managing 25-50 million in AUM.
· High level of expertise in sales, networking, and relationship building.
· Excellent communication skills--verbal, written, and group presentation.
· Efficient and excellent time management skills.
· Articulate and charismatic, interacts well with people at all levels.
· Highly professional work ethic.
· CFP a plus.
