Steamboat Event Planners are hiring for the 2022 event season with part-time, seasonal positions available at some of Steamboat’s most exciting events!
What we do: Music festivals, fundraisers, sporting events, weddings, private parties, and more!
Event Staff Position Description:
As a member of our event staff, you will assist in the execution of these full-scale events and other private or one-off events. We are looking for reliable, self-motivated employees with a positive attitude and strong work ethic to join our event staff. These positions are part-time and seasonal, June through October. This is an ideal job for anyone interested in events and those looking for a summer job!
Event staff will provide production and operations support, site maintenance services, and general event support. The positions may require employees to stand for long periods of time, work both indoors and outdoors, perform light to moderate lifting, operate vehicles and equipment, and other miscellaneous tasks. Days, hours and shifts vary. Weekend availability is important.
We’re looking for 1-2 hard-working people who can take direction and be efficient. Our events are fun, so we’re in search of enthusiastic individuals with a focus on customer service to join us as we work on some of Steamboat’s most exciting summer events!

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: 15-20 hours weekly, depending on schedule (typically Wednesday – Sunday) and event needs.

- Friday, June 24
- Friday, July 15
- Saturday, July 23
- Friday, July 29
- Friday, August 5
- Saturday, August 20
- Saturday, August 27
- Sunday, September 4
- Saturday, September 10
- Saturday, September 17
- Friday, October 7
- Saturday, October 15
Work Location: Multiple Locations
Required:
- Minimum age of 21
- Valid Driver’s License
- Must have access to a car and be able to drive to and from event locations within the county
- Good skills in communication, organization, and human relations
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Event set up and tear down
- Must be able to follow a floorplan & Banquet Event Order instructions to set up the event. Including but not limited to: Tables, chairs, linens, place settings, glassware, furniture, etc.
- Must be able to quickly clear and reset the space at the end of the event. Including but not limited to: storing tables, chairs, clearing linens, place settings, glassware, etc.
- Ensure public and staff safety at all events through responsible alcohol service and compliance with health/safety regulations
