Seeking a detail-oriented General Merchandiser to join our retail team in Columbus. In this role, you will be responsible for stocking shelves, organizing inventory, building displays, placing signage, and keeping the store clean and running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Stock shelves and organize inventory in the storeroom and on the sales floor
- Create eye-catching product displays to highlight promotions and sales
- Place signs and price tags in proper locations
- Assist customers by answering questions and locating products
- Maintain store visual presentation by dusting, cleaning, and straightening merchandise
- Identify low stock items and inform manager of shortages
- Other general merchandising duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 1 years retail merchandising experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as a team
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
