Job Title: Technical Recruiter

Location: Huntsville, AL

Position Description

Gray Analytics is seeking a high-energy and self-motivating Technical Recruiter to join our growing team. This position offers a competitive base salary plus commission and a hybrid work schedule (both in-office/and remote). Responsibilities include sourcing, screening, interviewing, and managing the entire recruitment life cycle, from sourcing through onboarding. Technical Recruiter will network online and offline with potential candidates to promote our employer brand, reduce our time-to-hire, and ensure we attract and retain the best talent.

Candidate must possess considerable skill in interviewing techniques, a good knowledge of all specialized functions in the company, government contract industry experience, a basic understanding of the company's organizational structure as well as an extensive knowledge of personnel policy and procedure and federal and state laws regarding employment

practices.

Essential Job Functions

  • Screens resumes, interviews candidates (by phone or in-person), administers appropriate assessments and reference/background checking, and makes recommendations for hire.
  • Evaluates employment factors such as job experience, education and training, skills, knowledge and abilities, and other data pertinent to classification, selection, and referral.
  • Utilize knowledge of innovative recruiting sources to pro-actively & creatively source, screen, evaluate and network with candidates.*Please note all applications remain active for up to 6 months. Do not reapply for a position if you already have an active application on file.
  • Works with Human Resource Manager to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations, including affirmative action plan compliance.
  • Maintain iSolved Applicant Tracking System (ATS) with accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates and candidate sourcing.
  • Maintain courteous, professional, and effective working relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Build applicant sources by posting positions, encouraging referrals, contacting colleges and utilizing social media.
  • Creates and fosters relationships with diverse professional organizations and local community partners to attract and recruit critical skilled candidates, alumni, and diverse applicants.
  • Ensures positive candidate experience from application to hire or decline through strong customer service, quick response times and ensuring up-to-date resources are maintained.
  • Manage the entire recruitment life cycle from job posting through onboarding, ensuring that recruitment and selection procedures meet operational needs, legislative and good practice requirements.
  • Collaborates with hiring managers to develop interview questions which effectively identify desired technical qualifications and behavioral attributes needed for a position.
  • Interview candidates combining various methods (e.g., structured interviews, technical assessments and behavioral questions).
  • Schedule all video and in person interviews with leadership or hiring managers.
  • Conduct reference checks, background checks, and drug tests.
  • Work with Human Resource Manager to fine tune the recruitment process, including interview guidelines and questionnaires to establish whether the non-negotiable skills and experience have been demonstrated by the applicant.
  • Ensure that all job descriptions are in place and remain current and accurate.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources (or equivalent experience)
  • Level Entry recruitment/ willing to train the right candidate
  • Excellent background in customer service
  • Excellent verbal, communication, interpersonal, presentation and writing skills.
  • DOL, HRIS, ATS (ApplicantPro/iSolved Applicant Tracking), AAP Experience.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and professional judgement.
  • Working knowledge of HR practices and employment legislation.
  • High attention to detail and follow through.
  • Ability to work well with hiring managers.
  • Self-sufficient and able to work with little direct supervision.
  • US Citizenship required.
