Job Summary / Description :
WTVY is seeking a friendly and reliable Administrative Assistant who will provide support in a variety of ways to the successful operation of our station.
One of your primary responsibilities will be to serve as our receptionist, ensuring visitors and callers to the station receive a warm welcome.
Additionally, you will provide daily support to our Sales Department, assisting with a variety of business services and projects.
Duties / Responsibilities include (but not limited to) :
- Interact with approved station visitors, granting access to the lobby as appropriate via our secure Butterfly video receptionist system.
- Answer the station's main phone line, directing callers to the correct personnel or taking messages.
- Provide daily support to the Sales Department under the supervision of the General Sales Manager, including but not limited to log reconciliation via Wide Orbit, programming updates, pulling reports, order entry, presentation preparations, and serving in a backup role to the station's Traffic Coordinator.
- Complete and file quarterly FCC reports under the direction of the WTVY Office Manager & General Manager.
- Coordinate the proper distribution of incoming and outgoing mail / packages.
- Order and manage stock of office supplies.
- Open and Close the Front Lobby during business hours
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications / Requirements :
- The successful candidate for this position will demonstrate a helpful personality with strong communication skills.
- Basic computer knowledge is necessary, with previous experience with Wide Orbit software a plus.
- This is an entry-level position.
- Previous experience is not required but preferred.
