Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated individual to lead our finance function who will work passionately to ensure decision-makers across the organization are supported with accurate and timely financial reports, models, and forecasts. The Head of Finance will also build and define back office processes that support Grayce’s mission and growth plans. This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved at the ground floor of an interesting, innovative, and quickly growing business.
Responsibilities include:
- Own the annual and long-term planning process, including building of the 3-statement financial model and collecting/vetting key inputs from functional partners, updated monthly for actuals.
- Develop robust and insightful reporting frameworks to inform key stakeholders on financial and KPI performance versus budgets, forecasts, and historical results.
- Oversee cash and debt management and forecasting.
- Support and compile Board of Directors quarterly reporting package.
- Lead accounting and tax functions with appropriate internal or external resources to execute on priorities and meet deadlines, including monthly close.
- Evolve both Grayce processes and underlying systems to ensure the financial infrastructure scales with the business.
- Establish proper working capital processes and systems (cash collection, AR, AP).
- Own the payroll process and related controls.
- Manage external auditor selection and facilitate smooth annual financial statement audits.
- Maintain proper file-keeping structure to support due diligence for potential future fundraising and/or M&A activities.
- Recommend process improvements where needed.
- Perform ad hoc reports/analysis as needed.
- Evolve and optimize treasury management for scaling business.
Qualifications:
- 8 years of financial planning and leadership experience in a high growth environment, including experience in healthcare
- Strong accounting knowledge (including ASC 606)
- Segment or channel-level reporting experience is preferred
- Experience supporting M&A activity and/or fundraising
- Experience with accounting software (Quickbooks and ERP migrations preferred)
