- Develop partnerships with highly skilled tradesman to install Patio Enclosure sunrooms.

- Carpentry, Concrete & Home Improvement Subcontractors needed for long term, consistent work flow

About Us:

Great Day Improvements, LLC is the exclusive retailer, manufacturer and installer of Patio Enclosures brand sunrooms, screen rooms and solariums as well as Stanek brand vinyl replacement windows and doors. In addition to our own product lines, we sell and install Provia entry doors and Durasol awnings. We are seeking talented, reliable and motivated individuals for quality installation of our premium products.

PURPOSE AND SCOPE

This key position is responsible for making our customer’s project come to life and to ensure all products are installed accurately, in a timely manner and to the satisfaction of our valued customers. This position is responsible for all site preparation work as well as installation of all product lines in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Carpenter crews may be specialized for carpentry work (foundation work/decks) and sunroom installation.

JOB KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

The ideal candidate must have a minimum of three to five years’ experience in general construction, preferably in a remodeling capacity; knowledge of window/door installation; experience building simple decks, etc. Must be able to use various hand/power tools and have a working knowledge of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, siding and roofing. Candidate must also possess solid customer service skills as this position is the main point of contact with our valued customers while their project is in the process of installation.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned as needed.

  • Drives to scheduled job sites; meets with customers; accurately performs required measurements and technical breakouts based on scope of each individual project. Takes photos of pertinent areas relating to the job and notes any issues, problems or defects found that would impact the progress of the job.
  • Picks up project job jackets from supervisor; checks breakout for consistency with customer contract; checks breakout for accuracy in terms of glass size and materials needed.
  • Supervise, train and direct apprentices and helpers.
  • Performs duties in compliance with OSHA, HAZCOM, and other pertinent safety and government regulations.
  • Supervises and assists in loading and unloading of all materials on vehicles.
  • Cuts and organizes all materials necessary to properly install each job.
  • Installs all products with accuracy and quality workmanship.
  • Completes basic carpentry duties such as, the build out of simple decks, attachment of dormers, removal of fascia, attachment of standard fascia, forming and installation of gutters, etc. May be responsible for tear down and removal of old rooms.
  • Upon completion of the job double checks all work to ensure quality and cleans the job site thoroughly.
  • Reviews all necessary information regarding the completion of the job with the customer to ensure satisfaction. Demonstrates proper use of our products to ensure lasting performance.
  • Collects final payment from customer and facilitates any final paperwork.
  • Performs service work on our products as needed.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, lift, climb, and bend. The employee must frequently lift and/or move 50 – 100 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

General construction equipment and power tools

MUST HAVE OWN TRUCK, TOOLS & EQUIPMENT, LABOR TEAM AND APPLICABLE INSURANCES AS REQUIRED

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $150,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year
