WE ARE URGENTLY HIRING FOR A PART-TIME TEMPORARY JOB COACH WITH AVAILABILITY FROM 8/3/22 – 9/6/22 IN THE BURNSVILLE AREA:
- 8:45 AM – 1 PM TUESDAYS
- 9:30 AM – 1 PM WEDNESDAYS

You will work on-site at local businesses to guide, mentor, and coach individuals with disabilities to be successful in the workplace. This job will give you the opportunity to build relationships with the individuals you'll be supporting, their supervisor, coworkers, and our fantastic team here at Great Work.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
This position is primarily responsible for:
- Working on-site at local businesses to guide, mentor, and coach individuals with disabilities to be successful in the workplace through person-centered plans
- Guiding clients in having positive interactions with support persons, peers, coworkers, and supervisors by modeling pro-social, respectful behavior, and positive social interactions.
- Documenting comprehensive meeting notes, tasks completed, observations, client progress, and other significant activity or events in a short narrative format accurately, objectively, and promptly after all client interactions
- Maintaining regular contact with the client and their job contact
- Attending and scheduling, as needed, team meetings in accordance with MN Statutes, Great Work policy, and as requested by team members and as instructed by the supervisor
- Willing to travel to all clients, as assigned, while adhering to the Safe Transportation Policy, to perform employment-related tasks
- Completing incident reports as needed and follow reporting mandates (outlined in the Reporting Procedures section of the policy manual)
- Competently handling emergencies as they arise and report emergencies and/or results to supervision
QUALIFICATIONS

- Ability to read and interpret written documents and instructions
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Basic algebra knowledge
- Experience with Word Processing Software (Word) and Electronic Mail Software (Outlook)
- Culturally competent
BACKGROUND CLEARANCE
Ability to pass a background check.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Associate’s Degree, experience working with people with disabilities, or a combination of education and experience, preferred.
