We have manufacturing facilities in Elk Grove Village and Glendale Heights.   We manufacture and distribute specialty meats, flatbreads, dips, spreads, and sauces.    Grecian Delight | Kronos Foods Corp is seeking experienced Maintenance Mechanics for all shifts at our Glendale Heights location.  As our Maintenance Mechanic you safely install, maintain, repair, move, replace, modify, troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform preventive maintenance on industrial food manufacturing equipment.   What you are going to be doing… Minimize downtime through effective diagnostics and repair of production equipment. Document downtime in order to prevent repeated repairs. Perform preventative maintenance (PM) programs on equipment and recommend action plan for improvements. Perform building maintenance. Practice Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) by maintaining a safe working environment. Maintain parts inventory. Maintain certifications and obtain safety training as required for OSHA compliance (L/O and T/O, PPE, Safety Harnesses, etc.) annually. What you need to Have… High school diploma or equivalent GED Proficiency and knowledge in machining, mechanical, electrical, pneumatics, plumbing, and conveyor systems 2 years’ experience with machine maintenance in a manufacturing environment Mechanical and electrical diagnostics Experience with PLC's Physical Demands/Work Environment… Manufacturing plant environment with varied temperatures including hot, cold, and freezer.  The work environment includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on high places, and/or exposure to chemicals in work setting. Incumbents are frequently required stand, walk, hear, bend, stoop, climbing, crouch, kneel, reach overhead, pull and push up to 50 pounds unassisted.    Why Grecian Delight | Kronos Food Corp... Salary : $25 - $35
