Starting pay for this position averages $19-$36 an hour. Under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, the CNC Machining Technician will manage a range of maintenance needs to ensure preventative/proactive maintenance and repairs are completed in a safe, timely, efficient, and quality manner. Working with Haas, Hyundai equipment, Horizontal CNC, Vertical CNC, and Lathe. What You’ll Do:•    Perform the repairs of Haas, Hyundai equipment, Horizontal CNC, Vertical CNC, and Lathe machines.•    Handling mechanical and electrical repairs of CNC equipment.•    During regular production periods, perform repairs and troubleshooting of electrical circuits and controls to ensure minimal delay or downtime•    Engage in numerous preventative maintenance procedures specifically pertaining to overall machinery operations controlled by electrical components•    Denote the skills that must be verified by a certificate of completion in continued education; Specialized skills or technical training may be substituted to fulfill part of this requirement at the discretion of maintenance management•    Demonstrate compliance with and enforce safety and environmental procedures•    Must display a dedication to excellence, example, and the absence of crisis through preventative maintenance Why You’ll Love Working for Us:•    Comprehensive Benefit Package including Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage•    Insurance: Life, Short and Long-Term Disability•    401(K) Match•    Paid Vacations and Holidays What We Need from You:•    Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent•    Industrial electrical maintenance certification or equivalent experience and training•    Experience with Haas, Hyundai equipment, Horizontal CNC, Vertical CNC, and lathe machines.•    Mechanical experience & electrical repair of CNC equipment.•    Working knowledge of programming machinery•    Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and follow written/verbal directions•    Working knowledge of AC and DC circuits and systems•    Knowledge of electrical codes, as related to installations, basic hydraulics, and pneumatics•    Knowledge of control devices, high voltage maintenance, and troubleshooting•    Panel building and machine rewiring, reading electrical schematics, modification of electrical systems•    Physical capability to move freely throughout the facility; walk, bend, use ladders, lift 50 pounds on a regular basis, and operate powered machinery and tools•    Must be trained in hazard recognition, PPE requirements and use, lockout/tagout, confined space procedures, emergency procedures, and any other safety requirements for employment at Grede•    Required to pass a respirator fit test and follow requirements when working in regulated areas To learn more about Grede, please visit our website at www.grede.com.
