Grede is seeking highly motivated, innovative, and inspired individuals. The Grede Grad program allows new grads to gain on-the-job experience in a multitude of areas of a Foundry Plant and Corporate environment. This is an opportunity for new grads to apply their knowledge, enhance their critical thinking, and test drive their careers within a two year rotation throughout our locations in the Central United States.
The assignments are project oriented and autonomous, meaningful to the department and company, allowing Grads to take responsibility for major tasks, and gain experience.

Responsibilities:
- Work with Production Control, Quality, EHS, Engineering, Maintenance, and other departments to ensure trouble-free and timely start-up of daily tasks, plant launches, and projects.
- Track, record and report progress of manufacturing processes throughout your location.
- Initiate communication with customers, vendors, and department heads on product launches.
- Create a Capstone project to present at the end of the 2-year rotation at yearly Grede Grad Learning Summit.
- Partner with program mentor and a local functional manager to receive coaching, networking, and mentor capabilities.
- Participate in the Cost Estimate Requisitions (CER's) process by developing estimates of tooling design, yield, and cost.
- Any other duties, as assigned.
- Must have obtained a bachelor’s and/or master’s degree from an accredited university or college within the last 12-18 months.
- Able to work fulltime, 40 hours per week.
