Position Overview
This position is a paid internship for a college student currently working towards a degree in Accounting, Finance, or another related field. As an Accounting Intern you will support a wide range of accounting processes including reconciliation of vendor invoicing and accounts payable data entry. The Accounting Intern is responsible for providing overall support to the Accounting Department.
Responsibilities
• Match vendor invoices to the appropriate purchase orders/purchase requisitions and receiving reports.• Verify prices charged by vendor are accurate.• Setup the voucher for payment and enter them into the accounts payable system.• Reconcile vendor statements.• Scan and organize files electronically.• Assist Financial Controller with various projects.
Qualifications
• Currently enrolled in higher education seeking an Accounting, Finance or related major.• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.• Strong written and verbal communication.• Demonstrated ability to prioritize.• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
Division Description
The Green Bay Mill Division is a vertically integrated paper mill that manufactures containerboard using 100% recycled furnish. The operation consists of one paper machine responsible for the production of linerboard and medium paper used to manufacture corrugated boxes. This family-owned mill is located near the mouth of the Fox River in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
