About the Role
Green Dot Labs seeks a dynamic, experienced Senior Manager of Partnerships and Activation to join our growing team. This role will be instrumental in bringing our brand and marketing strategy to life – dimensionalizing the Green Dot Labs’ promise through creative engagements with consumers, retailers, industry stakeholders, and the media.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about cannabis and has a proven track record of success building marketing partnerships, influencer marketing, messaging and events within the cannabis industry or for CPG brands.
Responsibilities
Partnerships, Sponsorships & Influencers
- Develop and execute strategic partnerships, sponsorships, and influencer programs to increase awareness and drive engagement
- Identify and cultivate relationships with potential partners, sponsors, and influencers aligned with Green Dot Labs' brand values and target audience
- Negotiate partnership agreements and manage ongoing relationships
- Manage program budgets
Events
- Conceptualize, plan, and execute consumer, retail, and trade events
- Manage all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection/negotiation, vendor coordination, budget management, and onsite execution
PR
- Oversee day-to-day agency management and coordination to ensure the effective execution of PR campaigns and initiatives
- Co-develop PR strategies and efforts that align and coordinate with broader marketing objectives, programs, and messaging
Merchandise:
- Lead planning, sourcing, execution, and delivery of Green Dot Labs merchandise
- Manage relationships with merchandise vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and cost-effective solutions
Collaboration, Management & Leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate programs with broader marketing initiatives
- Supervise and mentor a Marketing Associate, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify areas for growth and improvement
- Stay abreast of industry trends, consumer insights, and emerging technologies, and design techniques to continuously improve discipline quality & efficiency
Measurement & Optimization
- Monitor metrics, evaluate program performance, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement
Qualifications (5 years)
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing partnerships, influencer marketing, events, or related roles, preferably within the cannabis industry or for CPG brands
- Three years of experience managing teams
- Experience planning for and working with PR partners
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful programs
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage budgets effectively
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and the ability to develop innovative marketing solutions
- Experience managing external agencies and vendors
- Passion for the cannabis industry
- Must be able to obtain Colorado MED badge

73,000-109,000/ year
